Dog grooming with a difference
Brentwood Bubbles ’N’ Barks is a purpose-built dog grooming salon based at Hopefield Animal Sanctuary in Brentwood, Essex – created with one very special purpose: to generate additional income to help support the rescued animals who call Hopefield home.
We first opened our doors in 2024, and over the following two years Bubbles ’N’ Barks grew into a thriving local grooming salon.
Our groomer Jade played a huge part in that journey, building up a fantastic and loyal client base and earning an amazing reputation amongst local dog owners. We’ve loved watching the salon grow, welcoming so many four-legged customers through our doors and seeing Bubbles ’N’ Barks become an established part of the local community.
A new chapter
In October 2026, we reached an exciting new stage in the Bubbles ’N’ Barks journey and changed the way our grooming salon operates.
Rather than Hopefield employing dog groomers directly, our fully equipped grooming tables are now available to independent, self-employed groomers who run their own businesses from our premises.
Jade became the first groomer to make the transition, launching her own independent business, Hairy Styles Brentwood, while continuing to groom from the same salon here at Hopefield.
For our customers, that means you can still bring your four-legged friends to the familiar Bubbles ’N’ Barks premises – but each groomer now independently manages their own services, prices, appointments and customer enquiries.
Grooming that continues to give back
Although the way we operate has changed, the reason Bubbles ’N’ Barks exists hasn’t.
Independent groomers pay Hopefield to rent their grooming tables, creating a sustainable source of income that goes back into supporting the sanctuary and the hundreds of rescued animals in our care.
So, while the groomers working from Bubbles ’N’ Barks are independent businesses, every occupied grooming table also helps Hopefield continue its lifesaving work.
It means our salon can be a place where independent groomers build and grow their own businesses, local dogs receive the pampering they deserve, and Hopefield benefits from vital additional income.
